Lets All Make A Circle - Toddler Dance is Fun!
Lets All Make A Circle

was founded to provide  a special time for mums, dads and grandparents to enjoy music, movement and simple dance with their child.  Groups include Toddler Dance, Toddler Dance Babies and DanceFun and are as much about the parent, carer or grandparent as the child.

About Us

is a class for parents, grandparents and carers, with their toddlers, from just walking up to age 5.
It is an active class -
run in a relaxed, informal way - and includes
action, dance, songs and musical instruments,
musical games, poems and ‘lets pretend’

Toddler Dance
Toddler Dance Babies

is for mums/dads/grandparents with a baby who is not yet walking - a social outlet, as well as a chance for baby to experience music and rhythm and get familiar with the Toddler Dance format.  The class is as active as possible!
is a class as much for the mums as their children - it allows mums to enjoy a fun gentle exercise/dance class alongside their young child and provides a special time to enjoy the music, movment and dance together.  The class is suitable for children of primary school age (and for mum too!) but older or younger children may come along too and participate at their own level.  There are musical games and activities, simple dance routines and dance-based movement. Music will range from child-oriented, popular, traditional, classical, latin and jazz and also world music from arabian rhythms through to american-indian beats, including inspiring instrumental music  (age-appropriate lyrics and subjects).  Mums:  you will find the dances easy to follow and the music a joy to move to.
What Happens At A Class ?

Toddler Dance is run in a relaxed informal way and includes:

  • action, dance-along songs, drama, simple dance routines and musical instruments
  • musical games, poems and ‘lets pretend’
  • colourful equipment  to fire the imagination

Your child will be introduced gently and will get to know the names of the other children.

A structured programme is followed where we build on skills - so it's definitely a class to come to every week if you can - but all that said - life happens and this may not always be possible - so a weekly on the door charge is made.

The class has a well know beginning, structure and end - and includes a surprise box which is different each week with a matching fresh activity, dance, game or song.

Your child may take a few weeks just to observe and get used to the class.

You will get warm! You won't have to sing!  You will be very welcome to the group.

Lets All Make A Circle is an established programme of music and movement of many years standing.  However the classes keep having to move when Susan does!  In recent years, prior to the move to Clackmannanshire, the classes were held in the most north-westerly community in Scotland!  Mums, of couse, come to the classes with their under 5's and older children, but we also have child-minders, big-sisters, Grans, Granddads and the occasional Dad who come along with their little-ones; they reach the class from various parts of Clackmannanshire and Stirlingshire; including parents from Stirling, Bannochburn, Alloa, Kincardine, Kinross and the Hillfoots villages, as well as the locations of Muckhart and Clackmannan themselves.  From the adult perspective: the classes are good, gentle, low-impact exercise similar to dancercise and the music is always as diverse and stimulating as possible.

Classes are run on a community-led basis with discounts for well supported groups and an ethos of people before profit, fun and friendship first and support and inclusivity for all Mums, kiddies, parents and carers.  Pass on the tradition.....

Lives: Clackmannanshire

I attended these classes when my son was a toddler and loved them so much that when he went to school I didn't want to give them up! I really love sharing the joy of this experience with all who come to the class!
